Due to the fact that we were 6th we were forced to leave the marshalling point almost 20 minutes before we thought we
had to. Toilet breaks were well out of the question - and
so an often asked query about Dodec Man became fact.
During the trip, Dodec Man filled the costume considerably
with bodily fluids as it went along washing it out with water
down the neck of the suit at appropriate moments.
It took a little getting used to - being watched by a crowd - they had absolutely no idea what was really going on in there.
It's a common but rarely talked about necessity amongst divers in wetsuits, triathlon rider and marathon runners, and.. now..
