HART TO HART January 1996 ART DIRECTOR : TIM FERRIER This project is typical of one of the smaller requests of Artist Electronics to fabricate specialty items for film and television. To the left is a "Car Bomb", originally designed and built by Artist Electronics from scratch for "Hart to Hart" but since used in many other Sydney based film productions. Getting clocks to count DOWN is extremely rare in the electronics world. As such, it was necessary to design a proprietory circuit especially for this task. The hours and minutes can be preset easily by use of DIP switches and the seconds countdown started and stopped by actors, with the unit fully self contained. The design is ideally suited to repetetive "take after take" situations.
